On Thursday night the Boston Red Sox lost to the Los Angeles Angels 5-4 in 12 innings. David Ortiz or Big Papi as he is called, had the worst game of his entire career. Ortiz went 0-7 for the first time in his career, and left 12 runners on base! Ortiz got the final out of the inning for the Sox in the 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th innings.
He has yet to hit a homerun this year on top of that. It is safe to say he is in a funk. After the game was over, reporters tried to get a comment from the left handed slugger on his performance. He kindly declined any interviews and told reporters to simply write, "Papi Stinks..."
