Funny or Die, a hilarious video site, features a great video short from District 9 star Sharlto Copley in which he reprises his role as Wikus in the previous mentioned film. If you have seen District 9 and liked it enjoying this short video will not be hard for you.
Copley plays Wikus and tries to recruit fellow South African Charlize Theron to help him present an award to musicians also from the southern tip of Africa. Unfortunately, we never get to see Theron's radiant face in this video. He does however end up tracking her down in a stalker-ish but funny way. Wikus is so blissfully ignorant it is hard not to smile while watching him.
There is no word on any sequel news for District 9, but director Neil Blomkamp has made it clear he is hoping for another movie featuring those ugly prawns. So fans will need to remain patient.
Copley also directed and edited this short himself, so enjoy his work.
