NEW HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PRODUCTION STILLS

As promised, I will be bring you the latest from the Wizarding World through muggle modes of communication. Websites...pffht... do their pictures come to life? Us muggles should understand the best way to get news is from the Daily Prophet. But is it really? Isn't Voldemort's sly, cunning, invisible hand secretly controlling the Ministry of Magic, Hogwarts, and the Wizard lines of communication like the Daily Prophet? Never fear though, the non-Voldemort manipulated news reporting on the Wizarding World can hit your eyes right here, so continue checking in.

Alright, enough playing. Of course, I am serious in some regard though. I will have every piece of Potter news all the way up to a thorough review for the two films themselves. Warner Brothers recently sent Slashfilm high resolution stills from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Check the whole set after the jump.

As you can see below, my previous concerns about the filmmakers removing the blood from Herminone's hands seems a waste of breath as the top image shows her two mitts stained from Ron's bloody injury just like the book. Below we also see Xenophilius Lovegood, Harry with Ron and Hermione, and even Ginny and Harry embracing. But my favorite shot has to be the one focusing on Bellatrix Lestrange and her fellow Death Eaters. The most powerful thing about this image is not the repulsive nature of Bellatrix, but the quiet fear emanating from the faces of Lucious and Draco Malfoy.

Most of the production stills appear to be from the first of the two films based on the final courageous stand of Harry Potter and the righteous magical community. Again, the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows drops November 19th, 2010 and the second part comes midsummer on July 15th, 2011. The images have me licking my chops. If the movies pan out the same way as the books did, these two chapters should be the best Potter films yet.
